Heard this sometime ago. As usual took it upon myself to “readjust’.
A young executive, on his first day of work in a big corporation picked up the phone in his new posh office and shouted on top of his voice “ HOI, BRING ME SOME COFFEE”, thinking he was talking to the canteen operator.
But at the other end was not the canteen operator but the CEO himself .
“ Idiot. DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM ?”, the CEO shot back.” I’m, your CEO”.
Stunned the young exec asked sofly, “ Do you know who I am” ?
“NO”, replied the angry CEO.
“Good”, said the young executive and hung up.
