Dr. Kua's Book

I’m not about to discuss the content except to turn your attention to a paragraph in page 6 which read as follows;

'' .........,UMNO Youth organized a rally at the SULTAN SULAIMAN STADIUM in Kuala Lumpur atwhich racist and seditious slogans were carried in banners ..........''.

What I want to highlight is the venue of the rally.

There’s no SULTAN SULAIMAN STADIUM in Kuala Lumpur as mentioned by Dr.Kua Kia Soong in his book.

In Kampung Baru Kuala Lumpur , there’s a Sultan Sulaiman CLUB ( Kelab Sultan Sulaiman ).Yes the club have a padang which is definitely not a stadium.

I’m very well aware of the rally Dr Kua was referring to and it was held at RAJA MUDA STADIUM. In Kampung Baru Kuala Lumpur.
It was originally known as TPCA stadium TPCA being acronym for Tamilian Physical and Cultural Association.

Petty ? But for a book which claimed to be “ the first credible account of the May 13 1969 racial riots in Malaysia using documents recently declassified at ther Public Records Office London”, such simple factual error is , disappointing , to say the least. To me lah..
